Tony arrived in Arizona in August of 1969, straight from the Republic of Vietnam after serving a year tour.  Tony was stationed at Headquarters – US Army Security Agency – Test and Evaluation Center, Ft. Huachuca, Az. until his Honorable Discharge in December 1971.  In July of 1970, Tony and his wife started up the A & M Waalkens Insurance Agency and later changed the name to the D.B.A., “Arizona Financial Services”.  Tony is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.S. degree in Finance and Insurance. He is a recipient of the National Quality and the National Sales Achievement awards and is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table.  The Agency’s business theme is “Accent on Excellence and Service”.  Their main objective is to provide financial security for all his clients by combining the elements of superior financial planning and products designed to meet the client’s needs.  Arizona Financial Services is a independent insurance agency representing A+ rated insurance companies by A.M.
